David Phelps, APRN

David Phelps is a board-certified psychiatric (PMHNP) and adult-gerontology acute care (AGACNP). Throughout his career and training, he has developed expertise in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, and prescribing medications safely. His experience has given him a deep understanding of the intersection between medical and psychiatric conditions, allowing him to identify and manage coexisting medical problems that may impact mental health.

David has special interests in treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and substance use disorders. He treats adolescent patients aged 14+, with a particular focus on the adult population, especially those with complex medical conditions.
