Cash Mcgregor, PA-C
Cash is a dedicated physician assistant who has made his way to Virginia from the rugged terrain of Wasilla, Alaska. He trained in various medical specialities and has developed a particular interest in neurocritical care, psychiatry and substance use disorders. Cash joined Conquest Health to extend his expertise and compassion to the community grappling with mental illness in order to prevent hospitalizations.

Driven by his upbringing in a region struggling with substance use challenges, Cash witnessed firsthand the profound impact of limited access to behavioral health resources. This ignited a desire to make a difference, leading him to pursue his career in medicine.

At the core of Cash's interests is treating substance use disorders with compassion and evidence-based care. Throughout his academic journey, Cash delved deep into understanding the factors contributing to the opioid epidemic, exploring public policy and decision-making while pursuing his undergraduate degree. This foundational knowledge, coupled with a PA program that prioritized comprehensive behavioral health training, reinforced his belief in the inseparable connection between mental and physical well-being.

Cash's ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, listen to their concerns, and provide support translates well into outpatient psychiatry, where building trusting relationships is essential for successful treatment outcomes

When he is not in the clinic or in the hospital, Cash enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with his fiancee and their two cats.
